Brampton Welcomes Jose Cesario

Brampton Welcomes Jose Cesario

Brampton recently hosted a visit that highlighted the city’s rich Portuguese heritage, with key stops including Azores Park and the Portas da Cidade do Canadá project. The initiative, which celebrates cultural ties between Portugal and the local community, drew attention from local leaders and businesses.

Councillors Martin Medeiros and Paul Vicente greeted José Cesário, the Portuguese Secretary of State for Communities, who was in town to strengthen connections with the diaspora. In addition to touring cultural sites, Cesário held meetings with local businesses and community members to discuss future collaboration.
