The EuroAmericas Forum 2024, an initiative organized by the Portuguese Diaspora Council, a non-governmental development organization, was held on December 17th and 18th at Nova SBE University in Carcavelos, Cascais.
One of the key highlights of the forum was the signing of a Friendship Agreement between Lagos (Portugal) and Niagara Falls (Canada). Wilson Teixeira, a member of the Diaspora Council in Canada, shared insights into the significance of this partnership and its potential to foster stronger cultural, economic, and institutional ties between the two regions.
