Kidney Transplant Program to help individuals in need

The Highly Sensitized Patient Program has provided a thousand kidney transplants to individuals who likely would not have had access due to specific compatibility issues, as announced by Canadian Blood Services through the Canadian Donation and Transplantation Community of Practice. To explain this program in more detail, we spoke with Dr. Steven Paraskeves, Chair of the Kidney Transplant Advisory Committee.
